Product description & Growing guide

Magnolia 'Heaven Scent' (magnolia 'Heaven Scent') is a member of the Magnoliaceae family. This deciduous shrub exhibits a columnar upright growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy – cold winter (-15 to -10ºc) and is hardy through most of the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open or exposed sites or central / northerly locations. Many evergreens suffer foliage damage and plants in pots will be at increased risk.

When fully mature, Magnolia 'Heaven Scent' can reach an ultimate height of 8–12 metres and a spread of Wider than 8 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers west–facing or south–facing or north–facing or east–facing aspect and sheltered positions. It thrives best in clay or loam or sand soil types and should be placed in full sun or partial shade.
