Product description & Growing guide

Hypericum calycinum (rose of Sharon) is a member of the Hypericaceae family. This evergreen shrub exhibits a suckering growth habit and is characterised by its evergreen or semi evergreen foliage.

When fully mature, Hypericum calycinum can reach an ultimate height of 0.5–1 metres and a spread of 1–1.5 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers an east–facing, south–facing, north–facing, or west–facing aspect and a sheltered or exposed position. It thrives best in chalk, clay, loam, or sand soil types and should be placed in full shade, full sun, or partial shade.
