Yucca elephantipes (spineless yucca) is a member of the Asparagaceae family. This evergreen shrub exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its evergreen foliage.

When fully mature, Yucca elephantipes can reach an ultimate height of 8–12 metres and a spread of 4–8 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers south–facing or west–facing or east–facing aspect and sheltered positions. It thrives best in loam or sand soil types and should be placed in full sun.
