Yucca elephantipes (spineless yucca) is a member of the Asparagaceae family. This evergreen shrub exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its evergreen foliage.

When fully mature, Yucca elephantipes can reach an ultimate height of 8–12 metres and a spread of 4–8 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers south–facing, west–facing, east–facing aspect and sheltered exposure. It thrives best in loam, sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun position.
