Campanula poscharskyana 'Stella' (trailing bellflower 'Stella') is a member of the Campanulaceae family. This perennial exhibits a clump forming growth habit and is characterized by its semi evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of hardy – cold winter (-15 to -10ºc) and is hardy through most of the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open or exposed sites or central / northerly locations. Many evergreens suffer foliage damage and plants in pots will be at increased risk.
When fully mature, Campanula poscharskyana 'Stella' can reach an ultimate height of Up to 10cm and a spread of 0.1–0.5 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers south–facing or east–facing aspect and exposed positions. It thrives best in chalk or clay or loam or sand soil types and should be placed in full sun or partial shade.
