Enkianthus campanulatus (redvein enkianthus) is a member of the Ericaceae family. This deciduous shrubs exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of H5 and no significant fragrance.

When fully mature, Enkianthus campanulatus can reach an ultimate height of 2.5–4 metres and a spread of 2.5–4 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers north–facing,west–facing,east–facing,south–facing aspect and sheltered exposure. It thrives best in clay,loam,sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun,partial shade position.
