Buddleja globosa (orange ball tree) is a member of the Scrophulariaceae family. This deciduous shrub exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its semi evergreen foliage.

When fully mature, Buddleja globosa can reach an ultimate height of 4–8 metres and a spread of 4–8 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers south–facing, west–facing, east–facing aspect and sheltered exposure. It thrives best in chalk, clay, loam, sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun, partial shade position.
