Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Fairy Tails' (fountain grass 'Fairy Tails') is a member of the Poaceae family. This grasse exhibits a tufted growth habit and is characterised by its deciduous foliage. It has a hardiness rating of half-hardy (unheated glasshouse/mild winter [-5 to 1ºc]) and is hardy in coastal/mild areas except in hard winters, though it is at risk from sudden (early) frosts.
