Viburnum rhytidophyllum (wrinkled viburnum) is a member of the Viburnaceae family. This evergreen shrub exhibits a bushy growth habit and is characterized by its evergreen foliage.
When fully mature, Viburnum rhytidophyllum can reach an ultimate height of 2.5–4 metres and a spread of 2.5–4 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers north–facing, west–facing, south–facing, east–facing aspect and exposed, sheltered exposure. It thrives best in chalk, clay, loam, sand soil types and should be placed in a full shade, full sun, partial shade position.
