Juniperus chinensis 'Stricta' (Chinese juniper 'Stricta') is a member of the Cupressaceae family. This conifers exhibits a columnar upright growth habit and is characterized by its evergreen foliage. It has a hardiness rating of H6 and no significant fragrance.

When fully mature, Juniperus chinensis 'Stricta' can reach an ultimate height of 2.5–4 metres and a spread of 0.5–1 metres. For optimal growth, it prefers north–facing,south–facing,east–facing,west–facing aspect and exposed,sheltered exposure. It thrives best in chalk,clay,loam,sand soil types and should be placed in a full sun,partial shade position.
